Tiger Cave Temple Krabi

Tiger Cave temple - aka Wat Tham Sua - is located near Krabi Town in southern Thailand. "Tiger cave" temple is a must see during any exploration of Krabi town.

It is one of the more interesting temple complexes in southern Thailand, as the monks live and worship within a maze of natural caves in an overgrown jungle valley.

Wat Tham Sua teaches a form of Buddhism called Vipassana. The temporary nature of the body is on display and the dead body parts help the monks to focus on more spiritual matters.

What to do at Tiger Cave Temple

You can climb the 1279 steps to the top of a karst peak and get a panaramic view of Krabi provience.

You can view the many temples.

You can explore a hidden valley locked inside the towering cliffs of tiger cave.

There are many monkeys to photograph.

And spiritualist can arrange lessons from world famous monks.
