Koh Lanta is tropical at its best. With 10 white sands beaches dotting the west coast of Ko Lanta. A private stretch of beach can nearly always be found on the south end. Ko Lanta is accessible from airports at Krabi, Trang, and Phuket.
Lanta Island has something for any type of travelers:: diver, honeymooner, family, backpacker, party-animal, nature-lovers, solidude seekers, and retiree.

Next Khlong Dao beach [Had Khlong Dao] is a fabulous 2km (1.2mi) stretch of white sand beach in a U-shaped bay – is packed with mid-to-high range resorts and is great for family groups. Khlong Dao beach is Koh Lanta’s most popular beach and provides the most entertainment.
Further around the corner is Long Beach [Hat Phra Ae]. Long Beach is a mixture of snazzy resorts and low-key budget bungalows. There are several popular bars, restaurants and hip hangouts along the roadside and on the beachfront. Long beach Koh Lanta is favored by the backbackers and has many affordable bungalows whilst providing good night entertainment for the young at heart.
Next further south is the beaches of Khlong Kong and Khlong Nin which some secluded bays with private resorts. Khlong Kong and Khlong Nin is the area to look if you are after peace and quiet rather than beach party.
The southernmost beaches of Kantiang Beach, Khlong Jaak Beach and Mai Pai offer several elegant boutique resort spas, and some great budget-range cool backpacker bungalows clustered above the ocean on hillsides. In South Ko Lanta you are as close to jungle walks as you are to the ocean.
